Early November Birding

It’s been a while since I posted but I got a life bird yesterday so I figured it was about time.  That bird was a Ferruginous Hawk, actually 2, near the end of the divided portion of US 67  north of Newport. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of that one but I did take Sam, Angie, and Jack to see Sandhill Cranes at BKNWR today and got some pictures of those.  The SACR were life birds for all of them and a year bird for me. Speaking of year birds, I got my FOY Red-breasted Nuthatch this morning as well.
