Here is why you keep trying. It was lightly sprinkling when I left the house to shoot the sunrise at Vista Point for the fourth time in two weeks. I thought it might be a lost cause but as Gretzky said, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t try for.
For the time lapse, I exposed to the left at the beginning to avoid blowing it out later. Each frame was five seconds apart, sped up to ten frames per second. There was a double rainbow too but those shots didn’t turn out.
