3/26/2023 Foggy Sunday Morning

I decided to drive to the Ouachita National Forest Sunday but on the way, I noticed that Lake Maumelle was very foggy. Sometimes too foggy. By the time I got to the end of the lake, I decided to change plans and shoot the fog while it lasted. It didn’t last long.

First, I shot a curve in the Maumelle River.

Then, just to show how dense the fog could be.

After the fog dissipated, I found this dew laden spider web.

With rain on the way I decided to stay close to home today and visited Fletcher Creek west of Little Rock off Kanis Road. I decided to not cross over the creek on that log bridge in the second picture.

Covered bridge just before the end of the road.

2/26/2023 Rattlesnake Ridge

I wanted to get out of the house and shoot fog this morning. Fortunately, there was some fog after all the rain over the last couple days though not as much as I hoped for. I chose Rattlesnake Ridge for its nice views of Lake Maumelle, Pinnacle Mountain, and the unnamed valley to the south of Lake Maumelle.
