Burns Park / Cook’s Landing 8/21/2008

Arrived at 7:10 AM. Parked at the western end of Burns Park since that was much more convenient for the target. My target bird was the Painted Bunting reported in the mile 6.0 – mile 6.25 region of the River Trail. I heard something that sounded similar to the Painted Bunting right there but after 40 minutes got no sight of the bird. Walked the River Trail to Campbell Lake Trail to Isabella Jo Trail back to the River Trail and back to the car. Finished at 9 AM.
