I visited Two Rivers Park Saturday morning starting at 7:25 for about 2.5 hours. While there I saw first of season White-crowned Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, and Yellow-rumped Warbler. Also perhaps last of season Eastern-Wood Pewee and Barn Swallow.
Plus one mysterious small dark sparrow that likes to hang out on the ground below tall grass and aggravate birders by flying fifty feet and then disappearing into the base of some other tall grass.
I also noticed the Eastern Towhees are getting vocal again.
